What this site uses

• Theme preference. If you switch between day and night, the site stores a value called suvu-theme-session in your browser’s session storage. It keeps your choice while this tab is open. A new browsing session starts in day mode, and you can clear the value through your browser’s site-data settings.
• Messages you send. The Contact link opens your own email app. If you email me, I receive the address, name (if provided), message, and anything you choose to include. I use it to reply and handle the conversation.
• Technical delivery data. ChatGPT Sites hosts these pages and may process normal web request information, such as an IP address, requested page, time, browser or device details, and security information, to deliver, maintain, and protect them. Spaceship manages the domain registration and DNS settings for suvugurung.com.

There is no account, on-site contact form, advertising pixel, analytics script, or embedded social feed in the current portfolio. The page’s own code does not set tracking cookies. Browser storage and any hosting-level technologies are separate.

Purpose, sharing & retention

I use your theme choice to remember the appearance you selected, your email to answer you, and hosting services to make this portfolio available and secure. ChatGPT Sites provides website hosting, Spaceship manages the domain, and email providers deliver correspondence. Information may also be disclosed if required by applicable law. I do not use this portfolio to send marketing emails or sell visitor information.

Your theme choice lasts for the current browser tab session. I keep email conversations as needed for responding, following up, and maintaining relevant records. You can ask me to delete a conversation, subject to any reason I must keep it under applicable law. The hosting service and email providers control the retention of data they process under their own policies and applicable agreements. Spaceship handles domain registration and DNS under its own policies. These services may process data in different countries.

Where a lawful basis is required, operating a secure portfolio and responding to a message you initiated are my legitimate interests. The theme value is stored when you choose a theme. You can clear that preference in your browser’s site-data settings.

You can clear the theme preference through your browser’s site-data settings. You can choose not to send an email. Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I hold, or object to or restrict certain uses. You may also have a right to complain to a privacy regulator.

Email gurungsuvu@gmail.com with a privacy request. I may need to verify that the request concerns you. If the information is held by a linked service or your email provider, contact that service directly. I use reasonable care with correspondence, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Its fonts are Caveat by the Caveat Project Authors, DM Sans by the DM Sans Project Authors, and Nothing You Could Do by Kimberly Geswein, under the SIL Open Font License. Some visuals were created or edited with digital tools. Photos of people and projects appear as part of my personal portfolio; if you own rights in an image or have a concern about its use, please contact me so I can review it promptly.

Using this site

The experiences and project descriptions are my personal account. They are provided for general portfolio information, not as statements on behalf of any employer, university, or client. Concept projects are not instructions for medical care, engineering, safety, or product use. Contacting me does not create a professional engagement or contract.

Links to LinkedIn, Devpost, and other websites take you away from this portfolio. Those services control their own content and privacy practices. This site is a personal portfolio and is not directed at children. I may update the portfolio and this page as the site changes; the date below shows the latest revision.
